Free to B is based just outside of NYC.  Free to B was founded by Brenna Scheff who’s been crafting ever since her hands could hold a paint brush.  After selling her first painting Brenna knew she needed to take her love of art to a whole new level.  She believes that jewelry is the closest thing to a wearable canvas.  Paintings are always enriching to look at, but you have to go visit them.  Jewelry design allows her to bring inspiration and art into everyday life.  Each piece is designed to be as strong as the design will allow, we want you to be exceedingly happy with our work.

Brenna’s passion has always been rooted in self expression through art without words.  In addition to making wearable art, Brenna gets her hands dirty in oil paints more than once a week. Making and wearing jewelry since before she was 10; she has procured many useful techniques over the years. Learning through hands on experience with design and colors for people of all ages, she has found a color-sense that is truly unique.

Brenna has taught people from 7 to 77 some of her jewelry making techniques. While all her  jewelry at Free to B is unique, she enjoys teaching others who want to share in her passion. She has always encouraged learning the art of jewelry making and enjoys helping people find their own personal design and color sense.  Her motto is to “Just B!” and Brenna believes that true design begins with the understanding of how color relationships can change mood and our approach to our everyday lives. Those who choose to live their day in all black may see the day differently from someone who decided to try some yellow, orange, or red. Learning how to free the mind and soul to create what cannot be expressed through words is an everyday adventure we should all take. How we experience the world around us is what makes us… US!
